What is recorded here
Marked on the 1839 and 1925 eds of the OS 6-inch map and described in italic lettering on both as Tobernagappul – the horses’ well – and situated on a fairly level landscape. It is not visible in pasture, and there is no evidence that it was ever venerated or of any antiquity.
