Toberinirt

Toberinirt/Tobar Aon Fhirt (Well of Strength): A spring well contained within a rectangular stone structure. There is a vague tradition that this was a holy well (Ó Danachair 1960, 77). Toberinirt, also known as Tobar Aon Fhirt (Well of Strength), is associated with a tradition of healing and spiritual strength, though no specific saint is clearly linked to the site. The well's name and structure suggest it may have been a place of ritual or pilgrimage in the early Christian period.
