What is recorded here

Tobereesa is a holy well in County Clare, Ireland. It is a ritual site where clean water still touches the earth. People may have drunk from it, washed wounds or quieted frightened hearts. The name resists easy explanation, but the function is plain: a small place where human beings turned to water before thought or reason.
