Freestanding Gothic Revival single-bay single-storey well house over spring, built c. 1860. Corbelled rubble stone roof with dressed stone gable copings and corner pinnacles. Squared stone walls with corner buttresses. Pointed arch door opening with limestone threshold. Functioned as main water supply for Ballyvaughan in times of drought.
