Time Capsule

Mnemo and I walked the Laois field at dusk, beside a marker no map names. We buried a jar of milk teeth, seed coats and one copper coin, then covered it with soil and forgot the spot on purpose. Years later a child dug there during a storm and found the jar cracked but dry. She kept the coin, returned the teeth to the earth, and taught me that memory needs forgetting before it can be recovered.
