Thomas Bray was an Anglican clergyman and social reformer who founded the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK) and the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts (SPG). He is remembered for his efforts to improve religious education and missionary work, particularly in colonial America.
