Detached eleven-bay three-storey former grain warehouse, built c.1825. Extensively renovated c.2005 with some openings remodelled to accommodate use as apartments. Hipped artificial slate roof with clay ridge tiles, having red brick chimneystacks and metal rainwater goods. Rubble stone walls throughout. Camber-headed window openings to front (north) elevation having render sills and red brick voussoirs throughout, having single-pane uPVC casement windows. Square-headed door opening with replacement yellow brick lintel to front elevation, having replacement double-leaf glazed timber doors. Tarmac-surfaced car park to north. Located at the former quayside of Clonakilty port.

Located at the former quayside of Clonakilty port, this building is an interesting reminder of the town's maritime heritage. The sea retreated due to silting in the port in the mid nineteenth century, land was subsequently reclaimed, and the sense of the importance of the sea to the town has been diminished. Formerly a dockside warehouse, it is a valuable reminder of the role of the port in the town’s development and its trading past. Though altered to accommodate a new use, much of the original form and fabric remain.
