The Cheviot is a prominent peak in the Cheviot Hills, standing at approximately 777 metres (2,549 ft), forming a natural border between England and Scotland. It is composed mainly of volcanic rock and is a significant landmark in Northumberland, known for its historical and archaeological sites, including hill forts and ancient pathways.
