Explorer Tom Terally is basically a Bronze Age VIP lounge for dead guys. We’ve got cists and urns, which sounds fancy until you realize it’s just a box for ashes. The riding centre next door probably has better amenities than this ancient mystery spot. Spot the oldest stone and give it a name to keep it humble.
Explorer Tom Kirkbride is where prehistoric people dropped their flint tools like hot potatoes and just walked away. There’s a hammerstone there that looks like it was used to flatten a very angry neighbour's roof. Smugglers probably used the scatter as cover for their dodgy deals with local spirits. Bring your nan, she'll know more than me.
Explorer Tom The coal store at Terally is holding onto some unlikely celebrity secret, maybe a famous footballer once hid there from the paparazzi in a very muddy jacket. It’s got that rugged industrial charm that makes it look like it could survive a zombie apocalypse or a fashion week. Definitely not your average shed, but a place with serious backstory potential. If it's closed, admire it from the road
Explorer Tom Myroch Point is where the whole parish argued about whether it was actually a point or just a very long finger. It’s a farmstead that sticks out into the landscape like a thumb in a book. The view from there is probably worth the argument, but you never know. Make a wish, it's had centuries of practice.
