What is recorded here

The National Heritage List for England records Tawstock holy well as a scheduled monument. The saved point comes from the centre supplied by the official record. Listing does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Tawstock Holy Well is associated with Saint Keyne, a 6th-century Cornish saint linked to several holy wells in the region. Traditionally, the well was believed to have healing properties, particularly for eye ailments and skin conditions, and was a site of pilgrimage and ritual cleansing.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
