Sweethope Crags is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature in Northumberland, composed primarily of Carboniferous sandstone, formed around 300 to 360 million years ago through sedimentary deposition. It is notable for its exposure of ancient geological strata and its contribution to the rugged coastal landscape of northern England.
