Built into a masonry wall on the shore of Lough Gill beside Parke's Castle (LE010-037---). Circular chamber (int. diam. 1.3m; H 1.6m) constructed with drystone-walling and with an entrance (Wth 0.65m; H 0.7m) at SW, facing the lake. This is a National Monument in state ownership: No. 390 The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
