Indicated is a buried fairy fort on the north shore of Lough Gill, its thirty-five-metre earthen ring half-swallowed by grass and forgetting. The bank rises one metre at the north edge and dips to thirty centimetres inside, forming a shallow bowl where the slope meets the water. No entrance remains visible, suggesting the fort was never meant for ordinary entry or perhaps the door has simply stopped announcing itself.

Located towards the bottom of a S-facing slope at the N shore of Lough Gill. Overgrown subcircular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by a round-topped earthen bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m at N). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
