Sweathouse in Gorteenaguinnell

On a S-facing slope with no houses in the immediate vicinity. This is a rectangular chamber (int. dims 1.25m E-W; 1.15m N-S), whose N side is formed by a low cliff but whose other sides are drystone-built, and it survives apart from the top of the roof (max. H 1.6m). The entrance at S is destroyed. The site of another sweathouse which was cut into the bedrock (int. diam. 2.5m; D 0.8m) is c. 15m to the SE.
