What is recorded here

Situated in a small hollow on a slight NW-facing slope, just below summit of hillock, at N base of Benbulbin Mountain in upland pasture. A hut site is located 130m to the SW. D-shaped structure (ext. dims. 2.1m NE-SW; 1.9m NW-SE; int. dims.1.3m NE-SW; 1.1m NW-SE) with walls (T 0.4m; ext. H 0.1-0.2m; int. H 0.1m-0.3m) of un-mortared rubble sandstone with the straight side (L 2.1m) facing NW. The roof is absent and the floor is level and unlined. A break (Wth 0.3m) midway along the NW side marks the position of the original entrance. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 21 April 2011
