Sweat Ho appears only on an 1835 map, tucked on a sunny slope beside a quiet stream and abandoned farms. The land keeps no visible trace, yet heat, breath and shadow may have filled the hidden place.

Indicated as a sweat house only on the 1835 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated at the top of a S and E-facing slope on the N bank of a W-E stream that is on the lower E-facing slope of Thur Mountain and within 200m of abandoned farmhoues to the E and S.
