Not marked on OS 1836 or 1876 eds. Situated on a steep hillside in rough mountainous terrain. Small circular drystone-built structure (int. diam. 1.6m) of beehive-type construction, roofed internally by a number of flat slabs. Richardson (1939, 34) recorded that two of the closing slabs had fallen. Low lintelled entrance at W (H 0.4m; Wth 0.5m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
