Not marked on OS 1836 or 1876 eds. Situated on a rough mountainous hillside a short distance from a stream. Small circular drystone-built structure (int. diam. 1.65m) of beehive-type construction, roofed internally by a flat slab. Low lintelled entrance at E (H 0.8m; Wth 0.65m). Richardson (1939, 34) noted a chimney near it. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
