The public map records this plaque for Sunnymead. Its recorded inscription reads: Sunnymead. In 1403 William Kyngton built a stone house here which was known by his name for 200 years. Part of the present house dates back to the 1600s. John Howard opened a butcher’s shop here in 1730. The knot garden was laid out in the 1840s
