Structure

Two pieces of light brushwood (L 0.17m min.; Wth 0.09m; D 0.05m) in the drain face. The pieces are orientated E-W and are set 0.4m apart. They are situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
