Structure

A piece of brushwood (L 0.6m min.; diam. 0.042m) in the drain face in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with much Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
