Structure

Two pieces of light brushwood (Wth 1.1m; D 0.22m) placed 0.9m apart in the drain face. One of the pieces is worked to a chisel point. The site is situated in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
