Structure

A single piece of brushwood (L 0.66m; diam. 0.05m) in the drain face. The wood is in moderate condition and set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. This site is 0.5m above SMR OF010-421----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
