A single piece of alder brushwood (diam. 0.05m) in the drain face. A piece of alder brushwood is also recorded nearby. The material is located in poorly humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat with some ericaceous root. This material is located 0.78m below SMR OF015-475----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
