What is recorded here
A stake (L 1m min.; diam. 0.043m) on the field surface sitting at an angle of c. 90°. It bares a metal-cut chisel point. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
