Structure

A single piece of brushwood (L 0.05m min.; diam. 0.03m) in the drain face. Woodworking is not evident and it lies in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. SMR OF010-483---- is 4.09m to the SE and SMR OF010-485---- lies to the W within 15m of this site. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2003. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
