A single alder post set (L 1.09m; diam. 0.07m) at a 40° angle on the field surface. The post has been worked to an irregular wedge point and has been damaged by milling. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
