Structure

Two irregularly placed broken roundwoods and a few fragments of brushwood (L 0.53m; Wth 0.37m; D 0.11m). One of the roundwoods has a possible degraded toolmark. The wood has been identified as ash and hazel and sits in Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum and ericaceous root. This material may be associated with SMR OF007-343----, located 4m to the NE, and SMR OF015-289----, located 5m to the NW. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
