Structure

A piece of alder roundwood and two pieces of hazel brushwood (L 0.98m; Wth 0.66m; D 0.06m). Woodworking was evident one of these pieces. The material sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat with much Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
