Structure

Two stakes aligned in an ESE-WNW direction and some dispersed brushwood (L 32.08m). The stakes (diam. 0.02-0.03m) are set an angle of 45°. One piece of brushwood has been worked to a chisel point. The site sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
