What is recorded here
A broken roundwood (L 0.54m; Wth 0.16m; D 0.135m), orientated N-S, and a peg, on the field surface. There are many woodchips in the area. This piece sits within a zone of material which includes SMR OF015-329----, SMR OF015-334---- and SMR OF015-336----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
