Structure

Three dispersed roundwoods on the field surface (L 1.35m; Wth 0.59m; D 0.05m). The elements are orientated NNE-SSW Some of the pieces have been subject to machine damage and only one toolmark is recorded. The site lies in moderately humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
