Structure

A hazel roundwood (L 0.48m min.; diam. 0.055m) in the drain face. One end has a metal-cut wedge point. The roundwood lies on moderately humified Sphagnum peat. The site is located c. 4m W of SMR OF007-209----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
