Structure

A stake (L 0.3m; diam. 0.02m) protruding from the field surface at an angle of 45°. The lower end is worked to a wedge point. A field observation suggests that stake may be a modern insertion. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
