Structure

A damaged alder stake (L 1.89m; diam. 0.043m) cut to a chisel point and exposed in the face of a drain. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
