Structure, peatland

What is recorded here

A heavy roundwood and brushwood structure exposed in section in the drain face 0.8m below the surface. The wood is dispersed but evidently forms a coherent structure three layers deep. The structure was sampled for radiocarbon dating and wood species analysis. (Bermingham 2014) Compiled by: David O’Connor Date of upload: 20 November 2014
