Structure

A forked roundwood and piece of brushwood set 0.16m apart on the field surface (L 0.38m; Wth 0.24m; D 0.03m). The elements are in poor condition and both have metal-cut toolmarks. They lie in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2003. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
