What is recorded here
A single roundwood (L 0.32m min.; diam. 0.075m) on the field surface in well-humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2003. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
