Structure

Two roundwoods, a half-split plank and seven pieces of light brushwood (Wth 9m; D 0.4m) in opposing drain faces. The elements are widely spaced and are located at different depths. There is no apparent structure. The site has been disturbed by machine activity and some of the wood is clearly displaced. A number of elements have toolmarks. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1998. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
