Structure

A half-split ash roundwood (L 1.2m; diam. 0.077m) on the field surface. The piece has been broken by machinery. The roundwood lies in moderately humified Sphagnum peat and is located c. 5m W of SMR OF007-231----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
