What is recorded here
A hazel stake (L 0.25m; diam. 0.03m) at an angle of 55°. The tip was finished to a wedge point. It was cut to a wedge point with distinctive, short concave tool facets. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
