Structure

Two split oak posts on the field surface (Wth 0.58m; D 0.44m). The posts are set in near vertical positions and are in good condition. Both are outer radial splits with one chisel point and one wedge point. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
