Structure

Six pieces of mixed brushwood (Wth 0.18m; D 0.1m). The pieces are closely set, up to two pieces deep and are irregularly deposited. One possible toolmark was noted. The wood is in poor condition, in well-humified Sphagnum and Eriophorum peat with ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
