Structure

Two roundwoods (diam. 0.064-0.09m) and a piece of heavy brushwood (L 0.94m; Wth 0.54m; D 0.11m). The pieces do not form a coherent structure but are parallel and closely set. The wood is in poor condition and sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat. It is located 4.6m W of SMR OF018-088---- and is in the vicinity of SMR OF018-086----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
