Milletons cut three long woods to chisel points, aligning them across the wet field before peat and forgetting took the rest. They are not a monument now, only a shape of human patience preserved in Sphagnum.

Three closely set roundwoods (L 2.9m; Wth 0.25m; D 0.09m) on the field surface orientated NE-SW. The roundwoods (diam. 0.068-0.08m) taper towards their N ends. The wood is in poor condition as a result of milling. One piece has been cut to a chisel point. The site sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum and is 1.35m W of SMR OF018-086---- but at a higher level. SMR OF018-088---- and SMR OF018-089---- are also in the vicinity on the field surface. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
