What is recorded here

Two near vertical stakes on the field surface (Wth 0.18m; D 0.8m). The stakes are in good condition and one has a metal-cut wedge point. The stakes are in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. SMR OF018-081---- lies 3m to the N. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
