Structure

Two roundwoods (Wth 1m) orientated ESE-WNW and three brushwood pegs on the field surface and in opposing drain faces. The pegs run considerably deeper than the level of the longitudinal roundwood. All pieces show evidence for woodworking with a metal tool. All pieces identified are of ash. This site is possibly related to SMR OF007-280---- and SMR OF007-281----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
