Structure

A spread (Wth 0.3m; D 0.22m) of light brushwood and twigs orientated NNW-SSE on the field surface One piece is worked to a chisel point. Wood species include birch. The site lies on moderately humified Sphagnum peat but is overlain by poorly humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
