What is recorded here

A piece of birch brushwood (L 0.58m; diam. 0.053m) in the drain face. One end has been cut to a wedge point. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1993. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
