Structure

A single piece of root with a degraded broken toolmark (L 0.64m; Wth 0.1m; D 0.05m). The wood was located in fen peat with well preserved Phragmites and Menyanthes, 5m N of SMR OF007-193----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1997. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
